CTET 2022: Application Form, Syllabus, Admit Card, Exam Dates, Answer Key, Result

 The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national admission test for the teaching profession for various class group. In 2011, the Government of India established the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in order to more effectively meet the goals of providing free education for children as outlined in the Education Act.



In accordance with the announcement made by the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) which can be found in Subsection (1) of Section 23 of the RTE, a candidate who wishes to work for the government and instruct students in grades ranging from first to eighth must now demonstrate that they have successfully completed the CTET. The  administering the test is now the responsibility of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

- The Central Board of Secondary Education is the body that will be in charge of administering the CTET 2022 exam (CBSE).


- The formal notification on CTET 2022 will include all of the required material in its entirety.


The CTET examination is administered twice a year by the CBSE.


CTET updates for the Year 2021 -


On February 15, 2022, the results of the CTET 2021 will be made available to the public.

The answer key for the CTET 2021 exam has been issued on the website of the CBSE. Candidates have the ability to view the answer key on the CBSE website. If they wait until the 4th of February in 2022, they will have the opportunity to contest any response.


CTET Maximum Age


To be eligible to apply for CTET 2022, applicants need to be at least 18 years old; however, there is no upper age limit required.


Educational Qualification

The educational prerequisites for teachers of classes one through five in the primary stage are distinct from those for teachers of classes six through eight in the primary stage (5th to 8th).


    Minimum Educational Qualification required for becoming a primary teacher for class 1st to 5th.

    Candidates are required to have achieved a score of at least 50 percent on the Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent. Candidates who have finished two years of elementary education coursework are also able to apply for the exam, regardless of whether or not they passed the coursework with a passing grade.

    The NCTE (Regulation Norms and Procedure) Act stipulates that the candidate must have successfully finished their senior year of high school or another programme that is equivalent, with an overall grade point average of at least 45%. Candidates who have successfully completed or are expected to complete a two-year Elementary Education Diploma programme are also eligible to apply for this position.

    In order to be able to apply for the examination, a candidate must have finished all required coursework for a Bachelor's degree in elementary teaching and earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50 percent.

    a candidate who has completed both years of their Special Education diploma programme and has earned at least a 50% grade point average in their senior year of high school or its equivalent.

    Candidates who hold doctoral degrees in addition to an elementary teaching credential earned in the first two years of their teaching career are also eligible to apply for the exam.

      Minimum Educational Qualification required for becoming an elementary teacher for class 6th to 8th

      An applicant must be a graduate student who has either graduated from or is presently enrolled in a two-year primary education programme in order to be qualified to take the examination.

      Candidates for the exam are required to have finished or be enrolled in a one-year Bachelor of Education programme in addition to having a graduate degree with an overall minimum grade point average of at least 50%.

      According to the NCTE (Regulation Norms and Procedure) Act, in order to be eligible to apply for the exam, the applicant needs to be a graduate with a minimum grade point average of 45% and have a Bachelor of Education degree that is either finished or in the process of being completed within one year.

      CTET Exam 2022 Application Process


      The CTET 2022 is currently accepting applications through the online application system. The CBSE will provide notice when the cutoff time for the submission of the online application form arrives.


      Required Documents and Files to Have Before


      •  Scanned copy of your most recent photo and signature in the JPG file format are required.
      • Photocopy of the diploma earned in the tenth grade.
      • Information about your debit or credit card that can be used for online banking and is used to pay fees.

      The CTET 2022 Application Process Will Be Done One by One

      • Please visit the official website of CTET.
      • Click the "Online Registration for CTET July 2022 exam" button that can be found toward the bottom of the home page.
      • After that, you will be brought to the website where you can register for the event.
      • It is important to click the option that says "PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE."
      • After you have finished reading the instructions, click the button that says "PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE."
      • Complete the form required for authentication, then click "Submit" to send in your details. In this section, you will need to enter the information that can be found on your identity paper.
      • Next, complete the required fields for registering an account. After the completion of the registration process, you will be provided with a registration ID and a password.
      • You will need to use your ID and password in order to log in through the registration page.
      • Complete the application, then upload the required files, and finally, make the necessary payment.
      • If the payment of the fee was completed successfully, you should print off the "Confirmation Page." In order to gather confirmation from candidates, it is not essential to involve the CTET unit.

      Note:


      If a candidate has already been through the CTET exam at any point in the past, they are required to provide their former CTET roll numbers (for the previous three attempts).

      The information that is submitted on the application form for the CTET exam needs to match the information that is provided on the Class 10 Board exam.

      Payment Required for the CTET 2022 Application - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is in charge of managing the examination, would not accept any application forms that do not include the application fee. After it has been paid, the cost of the application is not eligible for a refund. The date that will mark the end of the application fee submission period has not yet been announced.

      CTET 2022 Admit Card

      Candidates are able to download their CTET 2022 admit card prior to the start of the examination.

      The Board will announce the dates for purchasing hall tickets at some point.

      You can download your admit card by going to the website of the governing body, entering your exam roll number and password, and logging in.

      The candidates are required to bring their entry tickets with them to the examination place.

      On the admissions card, please make sure to read all of the directions very carefully.

      If a candidate does not bring their admission card to the examination, they will not be allowed to participate.

      In addition to their admit card, candidates are required to keep one additional form of identification with them at all times. Acceptable forms of identification include passports, voter identification cards, pan cards, and Aadhaar cards.

      The final score for the CTET exam in 2021 The results of the CTET exam 2021 will be made available on the official website on February 15, 2022.


      The roll number of the candidate is required in order to gain access to the results and download them.


      - In order to pass the CTET Exam, a score of at least 60% is required.

      CTET 2022 Application Fee -

      No application form will be accepted by CBSE (exam conducting authority) without the application fee. Once paid, the application fee will not be refunded. The last date for application fee submission is still to be announced.

      CTET Exam Employment Possibilities

      A candidate who is successful in passing Paper 1 of the CTET exam is qualified to instruct students in grades 1 through 5, and a candidate who is successful in passing Paper 2 of the CTET exam is qualified to instruct students in grades 6 through 8. The following are valid uses of the CTET score:


      • Schools that are linked with the Central Government, such as KVs, NVs, Central Tibetan Schools, and others.
      • The administration of schools falls within the competence of the Union Territories.
      • Institutions run by the state that are also affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education

      1. The results of the CTET may be considered for employment decisions at privately run schools operating under their own authority.
