 What exactly is the CTET? The Central Teacher Eligibility Exam (CTET) is a nationwide test that candidates take to determine whether or not they are qualified to become teachers. The CTET is given twice a year to candidates who meet the requirements. The CTET Selection Process is structured on an online examination as its primary component. A score of at least 60 percent is required of applicants for them to be considered qualified. The online exam is broken up into two parts, each of which is worth 150 points. In the days leading up to the actual examinations, the relevant authorities will hand out admittance cards. The candidates are responsible for downloading and keeping their photographs up to date.  The  Central Teacher Eligibility Test  (CTET) is a national admission test for the teaching profession for various class group. In 2011, the Government of India established the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in order to more effectively meet the goals of providing free education for children as outlined in the Education Act. In accordance with the announcement made by the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) which can be found in Subsection (1) of Section 23 of the RTE, a candidate who wishes to work for the government and instruct students in grades ranging from first to eighth must now demonstrate that they have successfully completed the CTET. The  administering the test is now the responsibility of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
